RHEOLOGY APPLICATIONS
RTS SUPPORT & DELIVERABLES

RTS Support Overview & Deliverables
"I wished we reached out to you much earlier in the R&D process to better rheologically understand our product and the impacts of production processes, especially before locking down specifications." Comments like this have been mentioned by RTS clients more than a few times over the years. Performing either a single assay to address a specific technical need or an array of assays to generate a comprehensive rheological profile, is often a very small investment with a potentially large return.
RTS provides a broad range of rheological assay options and technical support with no bureaucracy and rapid turnaround for clients ranging from start-up to international conglomerates. In contrast to many large "all-in-one" Contract Research Organizations (CRO) and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMO), RTS is focused on rheology. RTS clients particularly appreciate and are often surprised by the very responsive and personalized interactions along with real-time flexibility and technical experience that RTS consistently provides especially for those "Houston we have a problem" situations (see "Testimonials" on the Homepage).

In addition to the assays listed in the "Assays" tab above, many "one-off" options not listed are often performed to ensure tailored solutions for specific needs. Not sure what assays and parameters would be most appropriate to address the question you seek to answer? No problem - RTS will provide guidance.
Streamlined! No bureaucracy. Flexible

A detailed quote will be prepared when the following information is provided. No problem if not known. RTS will partner with you to sort out details.
- Particular sample handling and storage requirements including presence of volatiles
- Assays (see basic list below or "Assays" tab in the header)
- # of samples
- # of replicates/assay (suggest at least duplicate)
- Temperature(s) including range and rate for heating/cooling cycling
- Particular assay parameters if known such as shear rate range to model processing etc etc

2. After you receive the quote, depending on your business practices you can simply reply to the quote email to confirm your approval along with any changes. RTS is very flexible to accommodate changes before assays.

3. Send samples to the address in the quote that also includes other shipping details. Receipt of samples will be confirmed along with an estimated turn-around time for a detailed review draft report, typically within a week depending on scope of project. Happy to do a report “walk through” to discuss results.

4. After about 1 week, a final report will be issued along with an invoice.

Other Options
Rheology Testing Services specializes in "one-off" special assays tailored and implemented to meet your particular needs. In addition, several assays can be coupled in various interesting and informative ways. For example, bracketing frequency sweeps can be performed before and after a yield stress, thixotropy study, or temperature sweep to further probe how the sample may have rheologically changed following exposure to stress, shear, and temperature.
